okay anyhoo....

i spent my CNY looong weekend in Japan with my family! (:

the trip was 5d4n, like really short. we wanted to get the 7d one but that would make me miss my Thursday 8-hour-long lessons. ):

Took the A380 for the first time! its really, really huge.

and the KrisWorld entertainment screen is bigger than normal planes too

breakfast on board:

the muffin is a bit gross. so is the hash brown. too nua.

the sausage is worse! but the egg is gooddd (:

bun is good too (with butter)

Sunrise! whee!!

Arrived in Narita Airport around 7:30am and it was snowing very slightly. When we step out of the airport the damn wind just kept blowing at us lor. Cold like siao. Wanted to turn around and just stay inside the airport. Haha.

After we finally board the coach bus we headed to this bullet train station and took the bullet train for like 2 stops to 'get a feel' of riding it. haha v diao.

after that we went back to the coach and headed straight to the rural area around Mt Fuji..... which was even colder. ):

but the scenery there was breathtakingly beautiful!!

the tour guide was saying how rare it is to see such beautiful snowy white effects - this is his 3rd time seeing in 10 years.

damn cold too unfortunately.

The weather on the first day was pretty bad and it kept snowing so Mt Fuji was invisible.

So instead of going up the Mt fuji stations we went to some 'dead' volcano that reeks of super bad smell (sulphur).

bought some stuffs from the souvenir shop there

all the souvenir shops there sell practically the same thing at almost the same price actually.

it has weird beans and side dishes not usually found in singapore's jap food though.

am salivating and craving for the tempura prawn now. :(

after lunch we went to this shrine-like (?) place

then we went here: (forgot what its called)

it was only 5pm when we took the pic. looks like 8pm alr right. haha

walked around, seeseelooklook*shiver*takepicsbuysouvenir*shiver* and went back to the hotel!

we stayed in one of the many hotels/ inns at the foot of Mt Fuji (near Lake Kawaguchi)

was too shy to go to the hot spring cus apparently japs expect everyone to go there in their birth suits.

haha. so we bought Cheese curry cup noodles for supper. whee!

its very nice! but quite pricey ($3++ each)
